Hello Oleg,

I'm having problems with print barcode using Taboga.
When I insert a frame with a bar code, in page header or report header
When the report prints two or more pages in the process of exporting to PDF I
receive an error WMF.

There is already a fix on this?

Guilherme,

I have an old freeware version of Taboga barcode library. And I have following
error trying to export to PDF:

Message caption: WMF Parser Error
Message text: Cannot find object id. Parsing C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\CLA291.tmp. Press
OK to end this application.

After this message "Halt: WMF Parser Error" and closing down application.

It looks like SoftVelocity's PDF output generator is not completely compatible
with that old Taboga version (or vice versa). Both are open source. So the error
can be trapped and possibly fixed. But firstly I would recommend you to ask
Taboga vendor if their latest commercial version is compatible with SV PDF
output.

Thank you,

Oleg and Guilherme,

Softveolocity's PDF output generator does not work with wmf images. if the
tabooga template has a way to export to a rastor image instead of vector that
would be your best bet, otherwise look at using PDF-Exchange or WPFControl which
work just fine with wmf images and produce much better pdf documents.

Actually, Softveolocity's output generators are using (parsing) WMF images
(pages) created by Clarion print engine. And that error mentioned by Guilherme
is raised namely by SV WMF parser.

Thank you very much for your input. PDF-Exchange is really perfect product. And
their support/development stuff does continuously maintain guaranteed
compatibility with Fomin Report Builder.

Thank you,
